Fly from Zanzibar to Tanzania’s largest wilderness for a compact safari—full-day game drive, overnight stay, and a morning boat safari on the Rufiji River.
DAY 1 – Zanzibar to Nyerere
Hotel pickup at 5:00 am to Amani Karume Airport; briefing and departure at 6:00 or 7:00 am (30-min flight). Meet your guide at Mtemere Airstrip and start a game drive (off-road driving allowed, so you get close views). Picnic lunch in the bush, afternoon game drive until sunset, then lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2 – Boat safari, return to Zanzibar
Morning Maasai cultural visit, breakfast, then a 2-hour boat safari on the Rufiji River (hippos, crocodiles, birds). Lunch, then transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar.
